Mike Brown is not Trayvon Martin or Eric Garner

Do not compare Mike Brown to Trayvon Martin or Eric Garner. Unlike Trayvon, Mike Brown was stopped for strong arm robbery of a store. Eric Garner although doing something that is considered illegal but was not hurting or robbibg anyone was subject to excessive force that lead to his death. As tragic as Mike Brown's outcome was he put himself in that situation the moment he committed a crime and decided to rob and to put his hands on the store clerk as well. This does not mean he deserved to be killed, but he started the chain of events that lead to his own death. I believe he was on a rampage and was looking for any confrontation with anyone, he was not an innocent victim like Trayvon was... Had Mike Brown not been in the streets that day looking for trouble he most likely would have never encountered the events that lead to his death. If you going swimming with sharks chances are you are going to get bitten or killed. No I do not think any black or Latino man should walk the streets fearing police officers, unless you are actually in the streets doing wrong. Mike Brown's karma that day was bad and it unfortunately lead to the tragic events. All these people rioting and looting right in their own community is senseless. What about the black owned businesses that were affected by having rioters destroy what they worked hard for. I don't think that officer woke up that morning saying let me shot a random black kid either. As far as the Grand Jury decision, I think they were right not to indict the officer. I do feel the police in this country are out of control, and if one good thing is to come of all this, I hope is that law enforcement everywhere are required to wear cameras and also have them equipt on all vehicles. I feel sorry for his family.

This is my personal opinion. I would like to acknowledge all my good and hardworking African American and black friends, as well as my God-Parents who are also African American.
